The Press Playing Favorites

This week on Dragon Ball Z we have a good old fashioned political beef with a fat sprinkle of jealously between Sean Spicer and everyone possible.

Background

The new president gets elected every 4 years, and within those years there are smaller election for positions within the white house. Most times those positions are filled by people who are usually chosen by the president or who align with their ideals. In this case the position the position we are talking about is the press secretary.

The Now

The past Press Secretary during the Trump Administration Sean Spicer has been complaining that the Washington Press treated him poorer that his successor. The new Press Secretary under President Biden's name is Psaki.

Below is the Timeline of what could could have possibly made him feel this way.

1. Sean Spicer and one other person were fired from another position when Biden got into office and there's a possibility that could be a reason.

2. Another reason could be the press were questioning his qualification of the position he was in while in the White House.

3. There was also a point where he was mocked on Saturday Night Live because of how combative he was which could be a reason.

4. Once he resigned the press followed him right out of the door which could be a reason.

My Thoughts

The first bullet point is something that always happens because new president bring new people. It is rare that a president keeps the same people from the prior presidency unless the prior president was the same party as theirs. In some cases a president promises certain people that if they were to win they would bring them on to the cabinet. The second bullet point is something that the press does all the time, no matter what you are doing, and it could range from sport, music, to politics. Their job is to be annoying and be all into your business and get a story because they are all about the clicks, it's how you respond to the press that matters. Now the mocking of him on Saturday Night Live, can be left up to a debate. On the one hand it is a comedy show and as a comedy show you are bound to be embarrassed or made fun of. On the other hand you are left wondering why they chose him to poke fun at, all the people in white house and they chose the press secretary, that's weird. Now the one that I found the funniest because its funny how the press literally followed this man out of the white house. I could imagine trying to get your stuff ready to leave and there are people everywhere asking questions and you are trying to get to your care.

Your Thoughts

What do you guys think, should he be in his feelings about how the press has been treating him or is he just playing the part of the butthurt politician and just literally taking it too far?
